PROJECT GTI
This was a side project I worked on 3 months more or less on evenings and weekends. I got really inspired by Ash Thorps beautiful cars/renders so I wanted to try making my own and I got really happy with it. I picked the Golf GTI Mk 1 because I really like the look and the format of it.
ROLE
MODELING / TEXTURING / LIGHTING / RENDERING / EDIT
I had a reference that I went after a lot, a japanese golf called Voomeran VW Golf GTI MK1. I named this car KÖNIG which stands for king in german since the roots for the VW are german. Modeled it in C4D and textured it with Redshift. Lighted and rendered everything within C4D and Redshift. I got very proud of this small but fun side project.
LOGOS
LOGO DESIGNS AND OTHER ELEMENTS
Most of the logos on the car and elements are made up. I wanted some to feel like magazines or tire companies that is a sponsor or similar in a way.
